OVERLAND PARK – For the first time this season, a member of the Benedictine Baseball team has been recognized for his efforts on the field by the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Parish Beagle has been named the Heart Baseball Pitcher of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports, for his complete-game win over Calvary University on Saturday.

In his second appearance of the season inside Olsen Stadium, Beagle finished Saturday's 3-0 win with 13 strikeouts while scattering 3 hits over 7 innings to earn his first win with the Ravens. 

Over his first two starts of the season, Beagle now has 18 strikeouts over 10.1 innings with a 2.03 ERA. 

The Ravens wrap up their series on Tuesday at Noon with the Warriors before returning to action later in the week with a four-game series back inside Olsen Stadium with Briar Cliff University.
