Sitting on the site of the former Benedictine Softball Field, the Murphy Recreation Center is a 42,000 square foot building that features an elevated walking track, a turfed field and two multipurpose sport courts in the main gymnasium. In addition, the Rec Center has two multipurpose rooms and weight room that has a variety of weights, weight equipment cardio machines. The Murphy Recreation Center is open to all current Benedictine College students, faculty and staff, plus members of the Mount and Abbey communities, college board of directors, faculty and staff retirees and spouses. A current Benedictine College ID is required for entry.

Monday-Friday:Â 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday:Â 8:00 a.m. to 6:00Â p.m.
Sunday:Â 10:00Â a.m. to 7:00Â p.m.
