Larry Wilcox Stadium

Larry Wilcox Stadium is home to O'Malley Field and surrounded by Laughlin Track.

Originally known as Raven Stadium, the construction of the field and stadium allowed for football to return to campus after years of sharing Amelia Earhart Field with Atchison High School. In it's first season, the seating was in place but the press box was not completed until year two.

The playing surface switched to FieldTurf™ in 2008. Following the 2017 season, the stadium was officially named Larry Wilcox Stadium to honor now NAIA and Raven Hall of Fame head coach Larry Wilcox, who earned his 200th career win that season. In the fall of 2012, the field was named O'Malley Field in recognition of the legacy of giving to Benedictine College and Raven Football by Frank O'Malley and his family. In 2019, O'Malley Field went through its second resurfacing with a new version of FieldTurf™.

Heading into the fall of 2024, Larry Wilcox Stadium became the latest athletics facility on campus to gain a new videoboard and scoreboard combination on the South side of the facility. During the first game of the 2024 season, the videoboard was officially named the Gartenmayer Family Videoboard in honor long-time assistant coach and current Athletic Director Charlie Gartenmayer for his years of dedication to the student-athletes of and to Benedictine College.
