KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Men's Basketball picked up its first weekly conference honors on Monday as Preston Reynolds was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.
Reynolds helped the Ravens to a 2-0 week, that included a ??-?? conference-opening win on Saturday over William Penn University. In the game against the Statesmen, Reynolds finished with 4 steals, 1 block and 6 assists to go along with 12 points.
On the week, Reynolds averaged 7 points and 7 rebounds per game with a total of 5 steals, 14 total rebounds and 10 total assists. Through the first five games other the season, Reynolds is averaging 8.2 points and 7.6 rebounds with a total of 10 steals, 5 blocks, 19 assists and 38 rebounds.
Benedictine returns to action on Wednesday, hosting MNU at 7:30 p.m. inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.
