BALDWIN CITY – Benedictine Women's Soccer extended their winning streak in their rivalry series with Baker University on Wednesday night, earning a 3-0 win over the Wildcats on the road.
Not only was it the Ravens fifth straight win, Benedictine extended its shutout streak over Baker to 450 minutes as the Ravens have not yielded a goal to the Wildcats since dropping a 2-1 decision during the 2021 season.
Mara Loughman hit the opening goal for the Ravens during the 29th minute. The Ravens held that lead through the break and added two second-half goals.
Annie Wilken made it 2-0 Benedictine with a 56th minute goal and then assisted on the final goal of the match during the 87th minute that was scored by Teya Bigknife.
Benedictine finished with a 15-5 advantage in shots while holding a 10-0 advantage in shots on goal.
The Ravens returns home on Saturday at 5 p.m. to celebrate Senior Night during Benedictine's annual Family Weekend as they host William Penn University on Legacy Field.
