Men's Soccer battled to home draw Saturday afternoon.
The Ravens scored 3 second-half goals, drawing 3-3 with the (RV) Clarke University Pride.
Down 2-0 at halftime, the Ravens quickly cut into the Clarke lead in the second half.
Manuel Abello sent a pass across the box and
Juanes Hernandez was able to beat the Pride keeper for the goal just 3 minutes into the second half.
Only 2 minutes later, the Ravens were able to level the match at 2-2. The Ravens earned a penalty kick when fouled in the box and Hernandez was chosen to take the PK, netting the equalizer with 39:45 to play in the match.
The Ravens weren't done scoring, either, as
Christian Lewis scored from the top of the box to put the Ravens up 3-2 with 35 minutes left to play. The goal from Lewis came off an assist by
Nima Samadian.
The Pride leveled the score with 17:08 to play after the Ravens were whistled for another PK, making it 3-3.
Neither team scored in the final minutes as the game ended in a draw.
The Pride scored a pair of goals in the game's first 20 minutes, one on a header and another when the visitors converted a penalty kick to take a 2-0 lead.
The Ravens pushed forward for an answer but were unable to find one, heading into halftime down 2 goals.
The Ravens (5-6-3, 2-5-2 Heart) will remain at home for their next contest, a 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 match against (RV) Central Methodist University.
