Megan Chiles joined the Benedictine College athletic department as the Head Dance Team Coach in 2018. Bringing a rich background in professional dance education and choreography, Chiles oversees all aspects of the dance program, focusing on performance excellence and student-athlete development.

In addition to her role at Benedictine, Chiles serves as a teacher and director at The Dance Arts Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. She maintains elite safety and industry credentials to ensure the highest standards of training, including being NDCA Safety Certified (National Dance Coaches Association). She is also a member of Dance Masters of America and is First Aid/CPR Certified.

A native of St. Joseph, Missouri, Chiles built a diverse and rigorous performance foundation throughout her high school and collegiate career. She has trained and studied with some of the nation's most prestigious dance institutions and contemporary companies, including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, River North Dance Chicago, Ballet Austin, State Street Ballet, and Virginia School of the Arts.

Chiles has a Master of Education in Dance from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Stephens College.
