Dalton Witherspoon enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant and Assistant Offensive Line Coach for Benedictine College in 2026. A former standout on the field for the Ravens, Witherspoon transitions into his coaching role following a highly successful playing career that began in 2022.
An elite offensive weapon for Benedictine, Witherspoon proved to be one of the most reliable and explosive running backs in the conference. His stellar play on the gridiron earned him multiple postseason accolades, including: 1st Team All-Heart of America Conference (2023), 2nd Team All-Heart of America Conference (2024), and Heart of America Offensive Player of the Week (2023).
During his tenure as a player, Witherspoon helped anchor a dominant Ravens squad that secured four consecutive Heart of America Conference Championships (2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025) and earned three appearances in the NAIA National Tournament (2022, 2024, and 2025).

Witherspoon graduated from Benedictine College in 2026 with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. A native of Windsor, Missouri, Witherspoon comes from a large family with four brothers and three sisters. Outside of football, he enjoys hunting, fishing, watching sports, and working out.
