    Broadcasting Graduate Assistant
Collin Echols enters his second year as the Broadcasting Graduate Assistant for the athletics department in 2026. Bringing a unique blend of on-field collegiate athletic experience and elite, award-winning media talent, Echols oversees a wide range of production, play-by-play, and sports broadcasting initiatives.

Before stepping into his graduate assistant role in 2025, Echols compiled a legendary student broadcasting career at Goshen College. A 22-time National and Indiana State broadcasting award winner, he served as the Goshen College Sports Director from 2024 to 2025, anchoring the station’s sports coverage and elite live programming.

His extensive list of accolades spans national and state platforms.

Echols' deep understanding of athletic broadcasts is fueled by his time as a student-athlete. He spent three seasons as a member of the Goshen College baseball team, giving him a distinct, firsthand perspective from the dugout that he seamlessly translates to the microphone and production booth.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Echols graduated from Goshen College with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting before transitioning to his graduate assistantship.
