Christopher Danly

Christopher Danly serves as the Head Football Athletic Trainer, overseeing the sports medicine operations, injury prevention, and rehabilitation for the football program.

Danly’s history with the sports medicine department spans several roles. He first joined the staff as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2019. After earning his master's degree, his dedication to student-athlete healthcare led to his promotion to a full-time athletic trainer role in 2021, and he has since been elevated to lead the football sports medicine staff. In addition to his responsibilities on the sidelines, Danly serves as an adjunct professor within the Health, Wellness, and Exercise Science department.

A proud alumnus, Danly completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Benedictine College, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology in 2019. Danly went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine College in 2021.

He is highly credentialed and maintains professional certifications as a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and is First Aid/CPR certified.

Originally from Tyler, Texas, Danly enjoys spending his time away from the athletic training room by exploring the outdoors, with a particular passion for hiking and skiing trips.
