KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The bow was officially put on the 2026 season on Thursday as the NAIA announced the Women's Lacrosse Postseason Coaches' Poll.
Benedictine, fresh off back-to-back NAIA titles and a 19-0 run through the season, earned 75 points and all 6 first-place votes to as the No. 1-ranked team in the Postseason Poll.
SCAD-Savannah and Cumberlands (Ky.) flipped positions after the Bees knocked off the Patriots to advance to the title game against Benedictine. SCAD earned 69 points to check in at No. 2, while Cumberlands earned 64 points for a No. 3-ranking. Keiser (Fla.) ranked No. 4, followed by Reinhardt (Ga.) at No. 5. Benedictine's Quarterfinals opponent, Lawrence Tech (Mich.) jumped from No. 10 to a tie for No. 8 with Indiana Tech.
Benedictine finished its three-game title run with a total of 58 goals, matching their own tournament record set during the 2025 tournament. The finished with a total of 85 points, finishing one shy of the tournament record held by Reinhardt from the 2024 tournament. The Ravens finished with a total of 54 draw controls, two shy of their own record set last year. Since being elevated to a National Championship from a National Invitational, Benedictine now holds the top three positions in the record book for tournament draw controls. They set the record last year with 56, which broke their previous record of 55 set during their 2022 title run. Benedictine also set a new tournament record with 41 caused turnovers, breaking their own record of 38 set during the 2025 tournament.
Individually, several Ravens should be adding their names to the tournament record books as the NAIA verifies tournament totals. Lorelei Siegel finished with 31 shots, passing the previous mark of 30 shots set by Chanterra Allen during the 2025 tournament. Siegel scored 16 goals, matching the tournament record held by Allen (2025), Aly De Caro (2023) and Clarke Haas (2023) of SCAD. Alexa Hildenbrand finished the tournament with 10 assists, which would match the previous record held by Lawrence Tech's Sydney Robinson (2023, 2024).
Benedictine led the NAIA in goals (418), shots (769), shots on goal (624) and draw controls (396). They ranked second in assists (226), fifth in caused turnovers (241) and third in ground balls (410).
