Women's Lacrosse put together a dominant effort at home Wednesday afternoon.
The (5) Ravens defeated the Midland University Warriors, 28-1, in a Heart Conference game.
The Ravens got things going right away, scoring 5 goals inside the first four minutes of play. By the end of the first quarter, the Ravens held a 13-0 lead.
The Ravens pushed their lead to 19-0 by halftime, keeping the Warriors from recording a single shot in the first half.
Several Ravens got a crack on the offensive end in the second half. The Ravens added 7 more goals in the third quarter to take a 26-0 lead into the fourth quarter.
Midland recorded its first shot and goal with five minutes remaining in the game. Regardless, the Ravens went on to win by 27.
When all was said and done, 16 different Ravens scored a goal Wednesday afternoon. Chanterra Allen scored a game-high 6 goals, Lile Chekas scored 4, and Kaylen Moore, Lorelei Siegel, Kiera Russell and Alexa Hildenbrand all scored 2 goals. Russell and Moore shared a team high with 4 assists, and Moore secured 20 draw controls.
The Ravens (10-0) will take on Mount Mercy at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15.
