Women's Lacrosse picked up another home win Saturday afternoon.
The (5) Ravens cruised to a 26-1 win against (RV) Ottawa University.
The Ravens got off to a hot start, taking an 8-0 lead after one quarter of play. The Braves got a goal back in the second quarter, but the Ravens scored 5-straight to kickstart a running clock and held a 13-1 lead at halftime.
The third quarter was more of the same as the Ravens outscored the Braved 5-0 to take an 18-1 lead into the final period.
The game ended as it began with the Ravens scoring 8 goals in the final quarter to earn the 25-goal win.
Leading the way were Chanterra Allen and Lile Chekas, who each scored 6 goals. Makenna Hill scored 4 times, and Kaylen Moore and Lorelei Siegel each scored 3 goals. Moore and Hill each added 3 assists, and Alexa Hildenbrand had 2 assists.
Molly Owen earned the win in goal, making 3 saves in the game.
The 3-0 Ravens will take to the road for their next contest, a 4 p.m. game Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Midland.
