(RV) Women's Basketball hosts Clarke at Noon on Saturday in clash of unbeatens

Benedictine returns home for the first time since No. 2 riding a 4-game (5-game with their exhibition win over Rockhurst) winning streak into the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium. They host Clarke University looking to move to 5-2 at home in the series over the Pride. The Ravens won 2 of 3 last year against the Pride, dropping the home game on Nov. 18, 2023, 71-63.

About Benedictine: Through four games, the Ravens are leading the Heart in scoring, averaging 78.8 points per game. In two conference games, that average jumps to 87.5 points after the Ravens scored 98 points in the win over CMU on Wednesday. ... Benedictine's Lauryn Dubbert was named the Heart Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week last week for her efforts in the Ravens 77-67 win over Peru State College. Dubbert finished the game with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 8 steals as she flirted with a quadruple-double. Through 4 games, Dubbert leads the Heart in steals, averaging 3.8, and is fourth in points, averaging 18.0. ... Benedictine's 4-0 start to the season marks its best open to a season since the 2019-20 season when they opened up a 5-0. They went on to post a 9-1 mark in November as they won 9 of their first 10 games of the season.

About Clarke: Clarke enters the game, ranked fourth in the Heart in scoring defense. After condensation on the floor in Des Moines postponed the Heart Network Game of the Week on Wednesday, the Pride enter today's game with Benedictine 2-0 in the Heart and have limited opponents to 57.3 points per game. ... Enter the game with Benedictine, the group of Hailey Walters, Maci Kuchta, Sydni Morris and Zoe Kennedy (4 of the probable starting 5) have accounted for 69.9 percent of the Prides 68.3 points per game average. That translates to 47.8 points per game. Outside of Josie Potts averaging 10.5 per game, the remaining Pride have combined to score an average of 12.1 points per game this season. ... Clarke's Sydni Morris leads the Heart in rebounds game, averaging 11.3 in 4 games. She is averaging a double-double this season with a team-leading 13.5 points per game. ... Clarke's Zoe Kennedy and Maci Kuchta are 1-2 in the Heart in assists per game. Kennedy leads at an average of 6.0 per game while Kuchta is second at 5.8.
