(RV) Benedictine Men's Soccer bookended 3 goals scored by Park University on Wednesday night on Legacy Field.
After the match was moved to Legacy Field at the Benedictine campus due to field conditions on the Park campus and concerns over continued rain in the region, the Pirates and the Ravens squared off in a home "road" match for Benedictine.
Diego Acuna gave Benedictine an early lead, scoring an unassisted goal during the 12th minute.
Park answered with three straight goals, the first two coming in the first half, and allowed the Pirates to take a 2-1 lead over the Ravens into the intermission.
A third Pirates goal during the 68th minute was answered by an 88th-minute goal from Benedictine's Eliah Froeyland but that was all the Ravens could score as the Pirates held on for the win.
Benedictine will close out the regular season at 4:30 p.m. Saturday as they host Missouri Valley College on Legacy Field.
