SEWARD, Neb. – The No. 23-ranked Raven Women's Soccer team ran their shutout streak to 300 minutes on Wednesday registering their third straight shutout with a 3-0 win over Concordia University.
The Ravens netted two second-half goals after leading 1-0 at the break to secure the win.
Kerry Devine got the scoring started for the Ravens during the 29th minute off a header from the assist of Madeline Stewart. It was Stewart who pushed the Ravens lead to two with an unassisted goal during the 62nd minute before Madalynn Gill scored the final goal of the match during the 90th minute off an assist from Katie Black.
Olivia Berry earned the shutout, playing all 90 minutes in goal for the Ravens. She finished the game with three saves as Benedictine limited Concordia to 6 shots,
The Ravens finished with a 22-6 advantage in shots on goal while registering 12 shots on goal.
Benedictine is off until Sept. 15 when they welcome MNU to Legacy Field for the start of conference play at 5 p.m.
