(2) Women's Lacrosse moves to 3-0 in KCAC play with 19-point win over (RV) Ottawa

OTTAWA – The (2) Raven Women's Lacrosse team continued to dominate KCAC play on Saturday as they took on (RV) Ottawa University.

Benedictine (10-0, 3-0 KCAC) led 13-3 at the half en route to a 23-4 win over Ottawa (1-6, 0-1 KCAC).

With the win, the Ravens have now outscored their opponents in KCAC play 69-6.

On Saturday, Aiden McEnerney, Natelie Wechter and Kacey Moore led the Ravens with four goals each. Moore scored the first goal of the game off an assist from Mary McEnerney inside the first two minutes of the game to score her 100th career goal as a Raven.

Mary McEnerney and Clare Ryan added three goals each while Mmolly Muehlebach scored twice. Emily Ruhland, Erin Rauber and Megan Rossman scored one goal each to round out the Ravens scoring effort. Ryan led the Ravens with three assists while Aiden McEnerney finished with two. Mary McEnerney, Wechter and Rianna England all tallied an assist to give the Ravens a total of eight on the day.

Taryn St. Louis earned the win in goal for the Ravens playing the entire 60 minutes with one save. Mary McEnerney recorded one caused turnover while the Ravens held an 18-4 advantage in draw controls. Wechter led the effort with 13 draw controls while Muehlebach added two.

The Ravens hosts Midland University at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The game with the Warriors was originally scheduled for last week, but do to Midland carrying multi-sport athletes on their roster, the game was pushed back to Wednesday.
